The Proclamation reads, “Outside of his musical accomplishments, Curtis Braly is a strong advocate for anti-bullying. He has always been at the forefront of teaching understanding and acceptance and never hesitates to use his big heart and talents to help out those in need or to encourage those who need encouragement. He has led campaigns for awareness on child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, several anti-bullying campaigns and now the U.S. Armed Forces.” When asked about the proclamation, Curtis said, “I am so grateful for Mayor Parker’s support. It means a great deal to me to be honored where I grew up.”
This is yet another item to add to a long list of Braly’s achievements. Recently he became a member of the Country Music Association as well as celebrated the recent announcement of being nominated for IMEA's "Country Entertainer of the Year," "Country Male Artist of the Year," and "Country Album of the Year".
