Nashville recording artist asks pressing questions to the world on the United Nations inaugural observance of "Living Together in Peace" day
What if people were to ask themselves, "What does the world need and how can I help?" Maybe there would be a different answer for every single person posed with this question.
As a society there is agreement that something, anything, must change for the violence continues in our schools, communities, cities and around the world. What is the solution? And is there more than one solution? Maybe it is all of us together, taking action, praying prayers or visualizing a better way, a better day that creates the change so the world might be able to truly "Live Together in Peace".
But who is it that shall come along to lead us all to action of any kind? Who is it that we shall rally around and be inspired?
Nashville recording artist Curtis Braly has taken a very wide and deep dive into these pressing questions of what the world needs and how can one help. "I honestly didn't think I would have to go so deep or change so much within me to consider these impactful questions," Braly said. "I don't think anyone can truly come up with heightened answers in the same space they are currently. I think we have to move ourselves first before we can move the world or inspire others."
Curtis Braly began deep introspection about how positive change can happen in the world.
"I think people have to think broadly about the world-at-large and not just themselves in their immediate relationships," Braly said. "That's so hard for us sometimes as we tend to think myopically instead of broader-based which requires greater imagination and/or insight into world affairs and relationships."
Curtis Braly is inviting everyone to take part in a very special evening titled, "I've Got Something To Say" inspired by the inaugural observance of the ”International Day of Living Together in Peace” recently adopted by the United Nations. The event happens May 16 and 9pm ET / 8pm CST online at Facebok.com/CurtisBralyMusic or on his YouTube channel.
